A hobby with a mechanical side
A little work. Another ride.
Over the last three years, I’ve bought bikes and been given bikes to fix up and resell to friends or the bike shop. I’ve done over 200 bikes so far. It’s a fun hobby that scratches my mechanical itch and gives me a reason to step away from a screen and work with my hands.
I like the whole process: finding a bike, figuring out what it needs, and getting it ready for someone else to ride. There’s a lot of satisfaction in seeing it come together, especially when it ends up with a friend.
This collection is a look at that side of my life—the bikes, the details, and the enjoyment of fixing something up and passing it along.
